Edward Millen Precinct

The Town of Victoria Park is seeking submissions from property developers with unique heritage redevelopment experience to reactivate the Edward Millen heritage precinct core heritage buildings.

The Edward Millen heritage precinct is located at 15 Hillview Terrace East Victoria Park, close to the renowned Albany Highway café strip and in close proximity to the Perth CBD, Curtin University and three newly-committed METRONET stations.

New allowable uses are ready to activate and create Perth’s newest heritage destination. Uses of the precinct can include, but are not limited to; community, entertainment and recreation, educational, civic, heritage, cultural and creative and/or small-scale production purposes.

The Town has undertaken detailed design for the surrounding 4.7 hectares of parkland and is now looking to partner with Perth’s best heritage redevelopment and hospitality specialist teams to bring back to life a State heritage asset for all West Australians.

The Town has undertaken heritage conservation works and a quantity surveyor assessment of the works required to bring the buildings back to life to a fit-out-ready state. The Federal Government’s Community Development Grants Program will provide the required conservation funding of $4m.
